With the good people at Center City Film and Video we are making new kids’ shows for a Comcast OnDemand Channel called Activity TV. We’ll be revamping the channel with an entirely new look and feel. Our first two shows are now on air!

WATCH THEM HERE! AND HERE!

One, is a cooking show for kids called, “LET’S EAT!” featuring our good pal Kurt Hunte from rap group Plastic Little with The Hydra (aka Andy Dinsmore) from the Chiakara Wrestling League. The theme song is performed by the amazing Spank Rock and Amanda Blank (written by Amanda Blank and Thom Lessner).

The other show, called “SHADOW MAGIC” teaches kids how to make Shadow Puppets and stars our good friend and most frequent collaborator, Rose Luardo (front-woman for the rock band Sweatheart). Rose plays “RoRo” who hangs out in the Enchanted Crystal Forest with Renee the Robot. Sometimes their friend Bob Stromberg comes to teach them how to make a new shadow.

Stay Tuned! We got lots more coming up!

We just finished a brand new music video for one of our favorite bands, Dr. Dog, for the track, “Shadow People” off of their new critically acclaimed record, “Shame, Shame” on ANTI Records! The music video, directed by Ted Passon, is an homage to the the regulars from the Tuesday night “Adult Skate” Session at the Holiday Skating Center in NJ, and features roughly forty of the rink’s finest (mostly ranging in age from 50′s to 80′s) doing choreographed moves around the band. The music video premiered officially on Stereogum.

The Food Network is starting a new channel called, “The Cooking Channel”. We developed what is now one and could possibly become a series of new spots for them with the folks at Big Smack TV.

Ish Klein is the tomato and the costume and set were mastermined by Carrie Collins with many of the set-pieces also originating from the brain of Jason Hsu.

We developed and produced a promo spot for the Oprah Winfrey Network with the good folks at Big Smack TV. We were psyched as always to bring on Duncan Frazier from Redshift-Blueshift. Thanks to all of our awesome friends who starred in the spot for rolling around in paint, primer, and pizza for a few hours.
